Marge had a raised awareness of inequality early in life with incidents at Graceland, losing instate tuition in California after marrying Dick, etc. She relates her experiences and callings in the church to widen the definition of ministry to allow women to do everything that they weren’t asked to do even though they weren’t prohibited to do without ordination.
